*Do you require insurance? If so please purchase policy with all your details on it at www.theeventhelper.com. We are not underwriters and do not provide a policy for your event. Policies range in price depending on location, type of event, and number of attendees, so we can not blanket insure everyone and that’s why if you need the policy for entertainment we ask that you purchase it yourself.

Terms for All of Our Party Packages, Promotions, and Offers:
Offers, discounts, promotions, coupons, and prices listed do NOT apply to Bash, Thumbtack, or Gigsalad bookings. You are also not eligible for a rain date, cancellation, refund, or transference on the Bash, Thumbtack, or Gigsalad. Each of these agencies requires us to pay a fee that we are not refunded so we cannot offer any discounts, refunds... with any of them. Save yourself the bother and book directly with us. on
Holiday weekend fees are $100 for private parties, $250 for events.
Friday and Sunday Promotion rain dates are only valid for parties the same day of the week.
We service NJ, most of PA, part of CT, and Staten Island. Transit fees are based on location, tolls, parking, and other factors including stairs, so lets us know if your location does not have an elevator as it will require entertainers to make multiple trips with heavy equipment. For locations outside of those listed we require overnight stay and additional transit fee.
No shows, magic, or bridal henna are included with any package offers as they require additional prep time and staff.
All artists except our Psychic wear staff attire(neat jeans/ shorts & t-shirt) so they are toddler friendly. If you have a black tie or costumed event, let us know in advance. There is $100 upcharge.
As with all our bookings, promotions book on a first come first served basis with completed contract and nonrefundable 100% deposit.
100% nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking. We offer a booking guarantee. We hold additional entertainers in case of illness or emergency and offer a full refund if entertainers are unable to come to your party(in 27 years we have only missed one party due to Covid-19).
If you need a rain date because your party or event is outdoors, you can book any available non-holiday weekend date/time combination for an additional $250 fee due at the time of booking. This holds both dates. No refunds are available if the date goes unused because we do not accept another booking for that time period and won't have that date available until the last minute..
Our Contract is mandatory and if we do not receive a completed contract prior to the party date, we cannot send entertainers out. This does NOT give you back your deposit, as the deposit is non-refundable. We do accept completed contracts via email and text.
We DO allow reschedules for any declared state of emergency issued by the governor of the state where the party is held or entertainers are driving from. We happily rescheduled many parties in NJ due to hurricane Sandy, blizzards, flooding, and other declared state of emergencies. We don't want your guests or our performers on the roads in hazardous conditions.
We do reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of COVID-19, flooding, snow, ice, or other hazardous conditions when the governor is late or absent with his/her declaration. If we cancel the booking you are entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule.
We do offer rain date/reschedule for any available non-holiday weekend date/time for only $250 nonrefundable fee for any prepaid booked party. See our rain date page for more details.
We do NOT allow rain dates at or after the time of the party. This must be arranged when you book. We block the date/time of your booking for you and do not take other parties at the same time to ensure in the event of illness or emergency we have suitable entertainers for you. We do allow you to book a rain date when you book your party date and you will find it on the contract we email you.
Transit fees and holiday weekend fees may apply to your party.
Artist may substitute glitter tattoos for face painting if our face painters become unavailable due to illness or emergency. We're all vaccinated but it's safety first, last, and always and we don't send out ill entertainers.

We offer 2 for 2 hours for $500 for large events as we go through additional supplies.
Costumed entertainer (clown or pirate) is $100 extra and does NOT include full body costumed mascots.
Full body costumed mascots are $100 for 15 minute photo session (you supply the camera and guests) and require a handler.
Holiday weekend fee is $100 for any party booked on a holiday weekend. Holidays are listed on our website. We do not refund for holiday weekends that are rescheduled for nonholiday dates.
Canvas changes are an additional $10 per canvas for painting parties. We pre-print/stamp children's canvasses so everyone goes home with a completed project. Any changes to theme/design will require a canvas change.
NO RAIN DATES for Party Decor with helium balloons. We also do not allow color changes once we purchase balloons, as we have them shipped from Texas and returning those items and purchasing new ones requires an extra 2X shipping fees-so be sure of your color choices when you book.
We may ask a refundable deposit for stationary Balloon arches or other equipment needed for decorating. If our entertainers are available to set up and break down for your party, we waive the fee. If we are unavailable to break down, we expect you to return the items in as good condition as we set them up. If the items are damaged, missing, or not returned at all you forfeit the deposit. We try and save you the hassle by having entertainers stay throughout the party to break the décor down. We expect you to treat them like family and offer them food and drinks(soda, water...) while they wait.
Storytime and craft parties that change theme or book require one week notice and $100 change fee to cover the cost of additional supplies.
Bookings are for entertainment purposes only, including all our entertainers and our Psychic Reader, and no assurances of any kind are given.
